LandShark said: I think you're right to think this is a graphics driver issue. Could you press Ctrl + R and type in "msinfo32" and send a screenshot of the summary page that comes up so we can see the BIOS version you have? We'd recommend trying this as well.1. I think it's to do with some of the settings from the Radeon Software. Please let me know if this works for you!
Thank you for that, we would like to check another setting within the AMD software:Open AMD Adrenaline software Click the Gear Icon at Top Right Corner Click Graphics Tab There will be four boxes in the middle. Which one are you set to? Have you ever changed this option?

Restart the computer and download/install the 5700 xt drivers. Make sure your power options are set to "High Performance". Test the card by launching and playing COD. Launch chrome as well to see if you get the black screen. If you continue to get the black screen, let us know. We'll need to create a ticket and you'll need to bring the powerspec back to the store as you most likely have a defective 5700 XT. Hey so I did all of that and it still ended up showing me that black screen right as I opened COD. Do I take it straight back to microcenter or wait for you guys to make a ticket?
