The reason I went with these parts is I would like to study editing and rendering once I finish High School and I find this to be the best that I know of as well as to handle some gaming. -

Upgrading from a 2012 macbook pro and really want to get into pc gaming! This will be my first build as well so I'm hoping to learn a lot about it! -
I chose this because me pc has old part to it like Amd Fx 6300 and all which makes my whole room at 100 degrees and makes too much noise. https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/custom-pc-builder.aspx?load=c1ca4bbe-6065-43c2-8322-718530eda76c

This is a link to a build for my girlfriend's son. He just turned 15, and it's his first year of high school as a Freshman. He's been having a bit of trouble adjusting to distance learning, because there's no interaction at all with other kids. His current computer isn't that great, so he's not able to play all the games he would like to with his friends. I do not always have time to spend with him either to play games like Minecraft due to work obligations, and his mother works as well. But, I am hoping that a new computer could allow him to play some really cool stuff or even create YouTube videos with his real life friends.

Dream Build! Of course my opinion, but I'm new to it all. My build is pretty straight forward looking to getting the most out of gaming. Love trying out new games, ready for this cyberpunk release! If selected this would really help me get a jump start in PC gaming.
Parts As Follow:
CPU: Intel - Core i5-10400 Comet Lake 2.9GHz Six-Core LGA 1200, Went with the i5 I think it's a well rounded CPU for the price.
MOTHERBOARD: ASUS - Z490-G ROG Strix Gaming (WIFI) Intel LGA 1200, Love the way this Motherboard looks, has everything I would need and not cram up the space.
RAM: Crucial - Ballistix Gaming 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3600 PC4-28800 CL16 Dual Channel, Heard a lot of good stuff about Crucial, again all the Ram I would need for my preferred use. And, Love the black slick look.
CASE: Lian Li - PC-O11 Dynamic Tempered Glass ATX Mid-Tower, This case is every where I look being show cased. What's there to say. Lian Li is killing it!
POWER SUPPLY: Thermaltake - Toughpower Grand RGB 750 Watt 80 Plus Gold ATX Fully Modular, 750 is more then enough for my build. RGB and fully modular definitely going to help with the cable management!
VIDEO CARD/GPU: ASUS - GeForce RTX 3060 Ti ROG Strix Overclocked Triple-Fan 8GB, This GPU is straight fire! Nvidia is killing it.
SSD: Samsung - 860 EVO 1TB SSD 3-bit MLC V-NAND SATA III, For my booting and over all files. Samsung - 970 EVO+ 1TB SSD V-NAND M.2 2280 PCIe NVMe, For my GAME!
CPU COOLING: Thermaltake - UX100 ARGB Universal CPU Cooler, Went with an heatsink. I'm old school can't trust the water cooling yet lol. Plus it's RGB duh come on!
CASE FANS: Thermaltake - Riing Quad Black 12 RGB Hydraulic Bearing 120mm Case Fan, You know what they say the more RGB the more FPS. Let's GOOOOOOO, love these fans so much options, get the most out of your RGB.

A good buddy of mine helped me build this after seeing my current set up. I needed something that can run all games on high settings and budget friendly. This is the build that him and I came up with. -

If i got first prize it would greatly help me get a lot of these parts but the most important to me is the ram and power supply.

Really good sub $900 build. Will get you 60fps at 1080p in most games out. -
Hi I hope your doing good and happy holidays the reason why I choose these parts is because since this is my first pc I didnt want to go crazy and choose super expensive parts because I dont have the budget for that and I think that this powercolor 5700xt red devil graphics card should do the job for me also the ryzen 3600x is a good processor for me the other parts are good because Im going to need a lot of storage to edit videos and also my games I really wish I could win the competition because this will really help me and my family. https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/custom-pc-builder.aspx?load=cf4b0365-2af0-4617-9d84-ade879deed53 Thank you and hopefully you take me under consideration to win this contest and also thank you for hosting this contest its really thoughtful and this will also make my holidays even better since my birthday is in Christmas and this will really make me happy Thank you again and hope you have happy holidays.

Is this actually read at all, by anyone at MicroCenter? My guess is its not, and just filler to make some people happy.
Anyways, I just let my imagination run wild, but not 100% wild, and made a dream system, minus a few things.

The build is similar to the system I am currently building in the Sliger SM560 case. I have been having a thing for ITX systems. Other than the case difference, I have a Cryorig C7G cooler with a Noctua NF-A9x14 HS Chromax fan swap, and 2 NF-F12 chromax fans for the case. -
Thank you guys for putting this on!! Here in Colorado, microcenter is the lifeblood of the electronic community and I can't wait to be a massive part of it 😍 Now I pray to the pc gods with this, my inaugural pc build!! https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/custom-pc-builder.aspx?load=47ed1e11-abdf-4e33-ada9-15d0ed1ecb97

https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/custom-pc-builder.aspx?load=2efede66-4da1-4af5-b0f2-66e529becd57I picked these parts because it is a very reliable and capable pc for school work and pc gaming. I’ve been a console gamer for my whole life and want to experience pc gaming for the first time. Also it would be be awesome for my business school work

I went with this build because I wanted to have the new 3060 and to have a ryzen chip as well. I feel like this computer would be so great for me to have and it is just perfect for almost any task you throw at it. I would love to get money off of this build so I could have a nice christmas present.

Below is my build link. I’d want to have something powerful for mostly gaming but able to run some side CAD builds for 3D printing tasks. I’d love to have it be high contrast with lots of white and black and then using the Lian Li RGB fans and Corsair LED strips to add color to it. Also the white of the case and many components I think will reflect the light nicely. I want use a couple AIOs with the NZXT GPU adapter to be able to push both the CPU and GPU for gaming purposes and allow me to be able to hold onto this PC for a very long time. The unit would connect to my 4K G-sync TV in the living room make for a great art piece and a wonderful relaxing gaming environment.

This is the PC I've been putting together (in my head) for the last few months. Trying to get the parts bit by bit. Hopefully will have the last few parts by Christmas and I can start off the new year with a decent gaming rig to play Cyberpunk 2077 on
Think overall it's on the higher end of the mid-tier gaming pc build. and decently future-proofed.

This build is ideal for my nephew who's most desired wish is to build his own PC. This PC won't only be used for gaming purposes but for school as well; as he's in school remotely now. This case is the case he hasn't stopped talking about.
