Seems stock is going to be super low. Can confirm Fairfax only getting 4 XT and between 10-15 regulars. If you aren't already in line, I'd bet you're out of luck. Cards go live online tomorrow at 0900 EST, on Amazon.

Yep, it's a nightmare. I thought of going and checking right now the Cambridge MA location, hoping that with this weather forecast for tonight, nobody will really camp out, but just looking at the degree of desperation at warmer locations, I think there is probably already at least a dozen of people waiting outside like they're trying to survive camping in Tibet at night. And with all of those unofficial lists of people...Yeah, it's almost pointless for anyone to go to any location who hasn't arrived at any location for at least 12 hours before.

I got lucky and hit on a 3090 today... wanted a 6800xt, but AMD seems to have shat the bed with this release. Never thought I’d be sad to have a 3090 lol.

The 3090 is basically a scalper card at MSRP now. Ouch.

@LandShark this totally went over my head as I'm in line for the new cards, can we use both cash and card for the same transaction?

About 40 here in minniapolis, MN in line. I have no clue how many there will be but I heard its going to be real scarce so just saying it might not be a good idea to try lining up at this point but all is welcome to still do so of course. 5 and half hours to go tell the store opens.

@Microcenter it's a shame that you let people wait in line during a pandemic in ice cold weather and don't even say how many cards you will sell in the end. Those people will enter the shop after a night of 30F and might infect your employees. You should be an example of how to use technology in a good way and make it easier for all of us. People are wasting their time and risking their health.
Why don't you sign up for yelp and create a queue there!? Are we back to the stone age or what?

Damn I literally left work right away for a 2.5 hour drive to arrive at 3am to there being a line as long as the cpu release when I arrived about an hour before opening. I still missed the cpu i wanted. This stuff just makes me big sad for wasting all my time trying to get something new. Wtf is the point of even trying any of this
