Hmmm the selection of 3080's on Microcenters online store keeps shrinking. At launch there were seven different results. Then a short while later six. Now there are only three. That doesn't seem to bode well for future stock.

So I was, unfortunately one of the people who camped out for 14 hours at the Tustin store for a 3080, (they had 85 cards) only to be the 86th person in line ; (. If they already have people waiting a week in advance for a 3090 I’m screwed. I was planning to go at 3PM the day before (Wednesday the 23rd) but holy s**t man.

I sent them an email asking them if they plan on releasing water blocks for other models and am waiting for a response. So far this is all I have so far. In my opinion the FE cards would be the best, because would take up less space because of the smaller PCB, but it probably won't be until next year before anyone other than a bot can get one of those. I'm not waiting until next year to get a FE, because I want to play cyberpunk 2077 on a 3090 which releases in November. Most microcenters had TUF series 3080 cards. So I'm really really hoping they will have 3090 TUF series cards. The other cards that EKWB has blocks for, are some vendors that I have never heard of before. Seems like there's the reference PCB that all vendors that I have never heard of before. All the major companies like Zotac Asus etc are using some other PCB design that is not reference design apparently. Or perhaps they are just placing components in different locations.

Everyday is like that at the Tustin store. It’s not for the 3090.

I emailed ekwb and I got a response about water blocks for MSI and EVGA. They said at this point they are not sure if they will be making them. It will depend on the demand that It will have so if majority of people want it, they will make it.

I am hearing not impressive performance numbers so waiting for reviews. But if i do go it will be probably be 10pmish.

I've been told that there have been some inconsistencies/inaccuracies regarding 3080 inventory online at the moment and that what you see (or don't see) on the website may not reflect what's physically available in-store and we've been referring people directly to their local store for inventory. I don't know exactly when this will resolved

Hey all! For everyone asking for proof, sadly I don’t have any, I was just passing along something someone said in the Nvidia discord, I hope it is just to deter people from lining up but the way it was just thrown into the chat made it seem like this person was airing their own frustration with it. @Junkie that was my plan too! I was gonna have my friend who is going to be working in the area on Tuesday , scout out the store and snap a pic of how bad it is, if it is just a rumor I’d happily be your line buddy! Hold your spot while you use the bathroom etc. I have a feeling I’m gonna need to get there earlier though, probably at 12pm if you waited 14 with no luck.
