😎🔥🔥🔥😎 SUPA HOT FIRE BUILD! 😱💰😍🙌
I chose this build because it's super sexy and it would chew through anything that I could throw at it! -
I would love to be able to upgrade and play some games with my son, this would be a great improvement. Nothing I want more then to share these experiences with him. https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/custom-pc-builder.aspx?load=c16cbfed-bc6a-44e2-b860-512b7a6e6026

Here is my build, and my uses for it would definitely include heavy gaming, schoolwork, and even content creation. For a couple of years now I've had the Omen 870-224, and considering the limits of both the case and motherboard, I realized I could not be able to upgrade without replacing the PC itself. I'm now starting to see the limits of the hardware, so I hope I could save up some money to be able to replace the computer within the next year or so. Thank you Micro Center for even doing this, and good luck to all! -
https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/custom-pc-builder.aspx?load=be325de7-1a1d-437d-838c-b67b4fd168ccI chose this build as I am planning on going into film/photography as my career and major of choice in college. The parts I picked may bot be the “best” parts but its the parts I’ve been eyeing as it is available now and in my budget. My hopes for this PC is to begin video editing and photo editing, and to play games with friends such as League and some singleplayer games like Cyberpunk or Assassins Creed.

I just heard about this contest this morning And with only a little time to put together my dream build I needed to act quickly.
It's been about 5 years since I've looked at building a new PC so I'm a little out of the loop but I had a good idea where to start. I'd usually start with a motherboard that has some of the features I want, but talk about paradox of choice! There were too many to choose from. So, back to picking a CPU, I went with a core i9 Coffee lake CPU. I'd like to be able to run virtual machines and do lots of other home server kind of stuff in addition to casual game playing so those 8 cores will come in handy.
Then for a motherboard I went with Z390-P Prime, I'm going to use the integrated graphics on the i9 so I needed one that would let me do that.
Ram was an easy pick. 32GB, in a dual channel kit. Gskill is my go-to for budget friendly RAM.
I'd usually want to spend quite a while looking for just the right case, but being pressed or time I went with the Cooler Master - NR600, it's not too expensive, looks nice, I know I'd not regret my decision over time.
The power supply was easy to choose, I definitely want a modular power supply for cable management. I also need one that's at least gold rated or power efficiency.
The SSD was also an easy choice, the 970 EVO 500GB, is what I want. Half a terabyte will be fine to hold the OS and a few other things. Most importantly this thing is going to be fast.
For the hard drive I went with at 4TB Blue from WD. It was not an easy choice, going with a Black was tempting but honestly I don't need a faster drive, I need lots of space for a good price.
I didn't splurge on any additional cooling the stock heat sink with the boxed Intel CPU will be fine. (if I win this contest you can believe I'm going to actually build this machine, so I trying to keep it under $1k.
For the OS, windows 10 Home, 64bit. I'm not a huge gamer but I'll need windows to play the games I'd want to play, and I can tinker with Linux in a virtual machine.
I don't need an additional GPU, the integrated graphics in the i9 are pretty good.
For keyboard, gotta have those mechanical switches. and for mouse, I went with bluetooth so that I don't have to ever worry about where my dongle went.
Then monitor *sigh* well this is my "dream build" right? So that's why I went with this one even though it puts me way over my $1000 goal. -
I haven't built a PC in AGES and this seemed like a lot of fun. Thanks!

I chose these parts for my build because they would be all that I need to be gaming for quite a while. This build would allow me to enjoy video games the way that I have wanted to.

This is my first time using Micro Center PC builder. I've built plenty of other PCs before, but sometimes I forget a component. PC builder ensured nothing was forgotten. Really streamlined the process! Thanks MC

I chose this build to replace my aging Intel Core i7-4790K build from 2014 which has received few upgrades. This selection of parts is great for price to performance, and will perform well for 1080p 144hz gaming, video editing and will far outlast my current build. https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/custom-pc-builder-amd.aspx?load=636c7a1e-639c-4a6e-92a6-1d317344682e

Welp...here it is
https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/custom-pc-builder.aspx?load=ec45df9c-ac0c-4353-9794-75f8a4278dd9
For starts at the heart of the beast is none other than a Ryzen 9 5950X that probably has more threads than I do brain cells. But should suffice for the little bit of video production I do (1.5 videos a year) and photoshop (do I still look fat?)
To help with said videos and games n' stuff I OF COURSE need to pair it with an RTX 3090 because of reasons. Like Cyberpunk. And Minesweeper (running in a Windows 95 VM...why not?) but lets be honest....12GB of that will be dedicated to RTX IO so I can copy files kinda fast. Or maybe set up Storage Spaces so I can have an impressive volume to assign VM's with nutty I/O and bare-metal-like performance....who knows
The ASUS X570 Crosshair VIII Formula seems fitting as a foundation for a tried and true battlestation. Ive never been able to afford any of the high-end ASUS MB's and so here it is. My first one ever for the best (and probably last) machine I will build.
The ONLY RAM I will use of course...the G.Skill Trident Z Neo series. One of the best RAM manufacturers around with a solid product line and amazing service. 64GB because I *might* be able to finally have all my chrome tabs open at once.
Storage is left up to a WD BLACK 2TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe. It may be just enough for Warzone and its updates. But seriously folks...installing games on rotational media is overrated. Thank you Western Digital. Oh and the 6TB WB BLACK spinner is for movies. Just movies.
In order to cool this beast down I decided to opt for the Corsair Hydro X Series iCUE XH305i kit. Comes with all the essentials for a beautiful setup. I decided to throw in another 240MM radiator for the future since I will be putting the 3090 on H2O. That rad gets two more LL120 RGB's and of course moar RGB's in the form of smart lighting strips. Heat will get a whoopin' thanks to Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Thermal Paste.
Sight...sound...and touch....should never be overlooked. That's why the eyes are able to gaze upon the LG 38" WQHD+ 175 Hz curved gaming monitor and soak in all of its beauty. To control your world the provided ROG Strix Flare mechanical KB with Cherry MX Brown's and the ROG Pugio gaming mouse are a must. And they both fit comfortably on the SteelSeries Qck XXL gaming pad. Finishing with the Arctis Pro wireless gaming headset to hear your enemies lurking in the shadows.
Now to the operating system. My true pick would have to be Windows 10 Pro for Workstations but alas, that is not an option. Regular Pro will do. Now its not that I don't trust Windows Defender...I trust Bitdefender more. So that is in there as well.
If you think that I never have to print something ever...think again my friend. Everyone needs a printer and the HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 ticks all the boxes. But wait...THERE'S MORE! Now I can also print in three dimensions with my Creality Ender 5 Plus! This may come as a shocker, but I know how to use Fusion 360. And for all else, there is Thingiverse.
Bitdefender may protect things on the inside, but for the outside I choose the APC SMT2200C Smart-UPS. That is what I call cheap insurance for my near 10K monster. Plus...why would I let a power outage dictate my gaming experience? HA!
Speaking of power....Maingear will be responsible for providing 1kW of 80+ platinum DC power to all the components. Fully modular of course.
And last but certainly not least what better confinement is there than the Corsair Crystal 570X. (works opposite my X570 board eh?) Presentation is key and this case will unlock all the doors. I could literally watch it all day.
This leaves me at my last item on the list....a Micro Center 128GB USB 3.1 thumbdrive. A staple in the modern household. Y'all are suckers if you forgot to throw in one of these. And this concludes todays presentation. -

This computer is what I am looking for. I may upgrade to a Ryzen 9 5900 but not really sure. I chose this because I can do it all with this PC. I am a student in school for music production and use a ton of virtual instruments(sometimes 100 plus tracks). My kids also create content on their Youtube (gatchas and lil videos) and I am about to start posting videos as well. The fact that consoles cost more now I am also going to make this my gaming rig as well.
The case has great air flow to help keep my components cool, not a fan of the RGB tho lol. The ram has good reviews along with PSU and cooler. The storage is awesome. The SN850 will give my programs quick start and read and write ability while my storage will still be pretty quick as well for transferring packets. This computer can easily support y family for at least 7yrs with no issues -
This build would be my first build, a bit much for a first build but it would do everything I would need it to do...mainly a somewhat overkill gaming PC

Trying to go top of the line so it'll last longer, even though that may not be the "best" strategy. Winning top prize i might tone it down a bit to make it for affordable, but this would be the target. Can't afford to do the best builds but you still dream big.

I chose this build because it would be my first ever PC and I don't want 4k high-quality gaming, just something a bit over average that can let me run most games that I really want to play! -

I chose these parts to get the most out of the components bang for the buck for gaming and solid modeling. It also isn't too large making it easier to transport if I ever have to evacuate for a fire again.

This build contains the best parts currently available and I currently have a system very similar to it. https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/custom-pc-builder.aspx?load=05b85f40-ce62-41ae-b327-b7ea2a77e114

This is a great build and one I really want for streaming. I have been streaming for a couple of months on my current build and I am slowly building a fan base. It is not big but I'm proud of what I achieved and excited to see what I can do with this build. You can check me out at twitch.tv/legit_v4n to see for yourself. I am excited to be here, and grateful for this opportunity so thank you! -
I primarily would use this PC for work, gaming, and streaming on Twitch. I have a 240hz monitor but I barely pull 50 fps on Cyberpunk on medium settings on my current setup so it makes me sad. Especially since I lost my job due to covid and have plenty of time to game for now...

I haven't built a PC since I was in high school over 10 years ago (I remember it had a Q6600 and an NVIDIA 9800 GT - it's crazy that the numbers have looped back around again!). I am currently a high school teacher teaching U.S. History and have started to get into the habit of making history videos for my students. I've been using a mid-range gaming laptop for the past few years but the 7th gen Intel process and NVIDIA GTX 1060 are beginning to show their age. I would absolutely love to have an AMD build in the $2000 range when parts become more available, with my ideal processor being the Ryzen 5 5600X coupled with a Radeon RX 6800 XT. I've never had an AMD build before and just love the fact that there is once again competition in the hardware market. Good luck everyone and happy holidays!

Built this system to be an editing, rendering, and color grading workhorse. Being a competent gaming system is a plus . I need a lot of fast storage to scrub through high-resolution timelines, and the extra VRAM is necessary for compositing and coloring.

A streamer PC to go with my new build. Would be pretty epic! Thanks for the cool giveaway.
