Hello Micro Center and Happy Holiday,
This is my all purpose Gaming, Streaming, Coding, and General Business Build
Build called: No Compromise, All Business
https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/custom-pc-builder.aspx?load=3591b4c7-2a76-4f39-b9eb-a29eca55a406
I am a college student and my old computer died this year. This will be my first time building a PC. (Actually having you guys build it for me lol) First and for most, I need this computer to be fast and versatile for all my needs. I'm a business student and plan on owning my own business one day, so I need a fast processor. I also plan to get into coding and streaming. The Ryzen 5900X is for me no question. Great workload and gaming performance. Paired that with a X570 tuff gaming motherboard and 32gb of ram. For the case I choose the Lancool 2 Mesh Performance with a Noctua NH-D15. I like air builds !!! I I also need to have a good SSD. I went with Inland Premium 2TB for fast load time and a lot of space. I went with the Corsair Rm850 for a power supply so I have enough power for over clocking and for future upgrads. Now for the GPU. I went with the Asus RTX 3080 TUF Gaming Overclocked. Honestly I would prefer a 6800XT Red Devil by PowerColor but I'm not seeing you guys carrying any 6000s series GPUs at the moment. (Hopefully soon !) And lastly and possibly the most important an AMAZING monitor ! I don't just want, I NEED a LG 34GN850 !!! This bad boy as enough space so I can do a lot business workload application effectively. Also its an IPS, so the viewing angles are great. The wide screen will also be awesome to immerse myself into a game while playing it.
Thank you Micro Center for the amazing products and services you provide. This contest is proof that you care about your customers, which I respect and appreciate. This is why I'm a life time customer. This PC in not only a reward for me, but also an investment into my future business. This build is going to completely wipe out my saving after paying for college, so a gift card would be amazing -

A build I'd like to complete, if only there were graphics cards in stock. This would be a multimedia and gaming machine for any 1440p gaming, mainly to replace the need for my previous laptop. -
If I get this pc I wont end my life, something to cling on, and have fun with random strangers online to make myself forget about the fact that life is worthless and there is not much to live for except the happines of our close ones.

I wanted the best parts for 1440p gaming. if you go through my list I think you'll see thats just what I picked. -

This is my dream build. I'm currently using a chromebook that is extremely unresponsive even when I'm doing online class, so this would be my pc of my dreams because nothing like that would ever happen again. I chose the 5600x for 2 reasons. I don't need the absolute best cpu for what I'm doing, and its based on the zen 3 architecture. I chose the b550 aorus elite v2 because it's one of the nicest board in my opinion, and I don't need multiple gen4 m.2 slots that x570 has to offer. I chose 16 gigabytes of 3600 cl16 trident z neo ram because to get the most out of your ryzen cpu, 3600cl16 ram is pretty much the way to go, and the look of the ram is so good. I chose the corsair crystal 280x rgb because in my opinion, it it the best looking case out there, and it even has another case to put all of the cables in. For the gpu that I chose, you need a pretty beefy psu, so I picked the powerspec 850 watt 80 plus gold fully modular. Now for the gpu, I chose the 6900xt because it is 500 dollars cheaper than the 3090, and based on the benchmarks, it performs similarly to the 3090. To take advantage of the gen4 m.2 slot on the b550 motherboard, I chose the 1 terabyte samsung 980 pro. I chose this because the read and write speeds on this ssd are some of the fastest. Lastly, for the cooler since the 5600x only comes with the wraith stealth, I chose the NZXT z63. I put the z63 in the list because on the pump, you can have a gif on it and that would look really cool in my opinion. To whoever made this contest, I appraise you because by doing this, you are showing to micro center customers that you care about them. By me and other fellow customers supporting micro center, by micro center doing this, they as a company are showing that they appreciate us and this is their way of paying us back, so even if I don't win, I want people to understand this. -
I don't know if this pc would be good enough but here is what I got

I am building this from passion. I am upgrading from a Gaming PC from 2012 (Still has an early AMD FX series chip in it!). I recently got a job and have been saving up for each part individually! So far I've gotten the case, 1 set of fans and the AIO! I would love to win the gift card because then that would allow me to buy the 3080 for my build -

I chose this build as I'm trying to get this pc build to get an upgrade from current pc. Which is about 7 years old and ive been having it for 5 years and upgrading my own ways , but now it in a point where i cant upgrade it any more so i basically thought of selling it and buying a new one. i have i7-4770 but now im thinking of switching to Amd ryzen 7 so i guess just to try it out and heard it was better than intel in many ways. i tried to get a gpu but wow there is no gpu to even pick from as everything gets sold out. im hoping to replace the gpu with a 3070 which will give me lead in many games and editing softwares. hopefully i get some money so i can either upgrade the gpu or just make the build way better. -
This build is for my husband, his first build is quite old and loud! Already 1 fan down. So this is needed, he is such an amazing man so this would be nice to surprise him with

This Computer is going to be a modern monster. I am decently young and I have to save my money for a few months for just one of these parts. I entered this contest to expedite the process of obtaining these parts. I want a very good gaming pc for when I'm not working or doing schoolwork. I haven't used microcenter much, but it seems much easier to use than Best Buy or even Newegg.(I'm not trying to suck up to them I am just stating what I feel.) I enjoy participating in these contests, even though I don't win, it is fun seeing others pc builds and enjoying the competition with others.
Good Luck Friends! -

I chose this so I would have a system I'd be able to hopefully use for many years to come without needing to do much adding or replacing.

Would rather have a ryzen 5950x, and either a 6900xt or 3090, but the builder wouldn't let me. This pc would be the ultimate gaming pc and great to pair with my 3440x1440 144hz lg ultrawide. Would love to be able to play Red Dead 2, borderlands 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 at this resolution and framerate. -
This is the build I think I could run Cyberpunk 2077 to its full potential given current hardware. SLI 3090s overclocked and lots of cores with infinity fabric tuned for fast timings to optimize feed to GPU with CL14 ram should do the trick. With daylight 3090s the high detail can be further fed to memory and running dlss 2.0 with a max draw distance should make everything within 100 meters if character pop. Almost cinematic

This is a ridiculous build that would never happen, but anything would be an improvement to my 10+ year old desktop that I built. Go big or go home, right? Lol. Thanks for the chance! https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/custom-pc-builder.aspx?load=5774c429-24b0-45b3-89bd-001184ac354a

OH! The end of times is near.
There is little stock I fear!
Next generation is next to none,
after all the bots are well and done.
PLEASE OH PLEASE! Lisa Su,
Make more Zen 3 to cure my blues!
PLEASE OH PLEASE! Jensen Huang,
I want my RTX, you have won.
I NEED to play Cyberpunk,
and games galore.
But my dreams of doing so,
are already sunk.
I hope for a future where my kids can play,
unbounded by low fps and low-res display.
One day.
One day.
Long live the PCMR. -
been wanting to build a game box but only to way better edit music so this would be how i would like toConfigure Your PC: https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/custom-pc-builder.aspx?load=51de03d6-f95a-4798-86e5-85d0501e84fd

I put this list together as a well rounded system as an upgrade to this old Lenovo ThinkCenter with a 3rd gen i5 I'm currently using. I was wanting something for light gaming (only play DDO at this point) and watching videos (hence the blu-ray drive) plus general purpose use. I have a GTX 1050 video card to put in it which should handle the demands I throw at it, plus an additional 1TB SSD and 1TB mechanical drive for added storage.

This is the build I chose to make (excluding Windows 10 and peripherals). I will primarily be using this PC for gaming and potentially start streaming or doing YouTube. I chose the Ryzen 5 3600 as it is a good 6 core processor for both gaming and streaming. The AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT will go great with this cpu for gaming and will get good frame rates on medium to high settings on almost any game. I chose 2*8 3200 mhz ram as 16gb is pretty much the minimum for gaming/intensive workloads. A 650 watt power supply will be good enough for this build. I decided to go with a b550m motherboard with wifi, which allows future upgrades. The case I chose looks like it is good for air flow and comes with three fans and many usb ports. Finally I chose to go with a 1tb ssd as there will be plenty of space for games, software, and other things.

I thought maybe I would wanna have a realistic build that I could put together one day. Going AMD seems the better fit and would be way better than my current build. I would want to stream one day and be able to play triple A titles without any problems.

When choosing these parts I had my 7 year old daughter in mind. This would be a perfect build for gaming and schooling. I know it would last for many years and can handle any game that comes out. Her dream is to be a vet but in the mean time she wants to stream all the games she plays to help her build the confidence in talking and explaining what she is accomplishing. -
If it's not obvious from the word 'go,' this is a no-holds-barred X570 system. Built to be the best, period. Most of it is based on what I actually am building, with some changes. (5950 instead of 5800, 3090 and EK waterblock instead of 3080 Hydro Copper, less storage, and different chassis and watercooling.) It's also a classic black aesthetic, with RGB strictly as a 'highlight' instead of everywhere. And when I say 'highlight' I mean: motherboard, distribution plate, some edge lighting. Deleted everywhere else. This is a 'do everything, better than anyone else in one box' build. Content creation, virtualization, development, and gaming.Annoyingly the builder won't allow me to add some missing components. You'll also need a Sound Blaster AE-9 and a WD Elements 8TB USB3.1 to serve as your backup drive. (Use Veeam Agent, it really is the best desktop backup solution.) The UPS is the same CyberPower I own 3 of, because it's just flat out amazing. And it will give you enough time to shut down safely, preserving your work.It should be noted that the Corsair watercooling kit is only because you have to choose a kit and really should be ignored, and some parts are placeholders. The EK distribution plate has the pump and would actually be the EK Quantum Reflection (which Microcenter doesn't stock,) and the CPU waterblock would be the EK Quantum Velocity Copper + Acetal (which has no RGB and for some reason isn't on the website.) Full hard pipe with Bitspower fittings. I know I didn't include enough. That's how it works. You think you buy enough, then you go back to Microcenter for another dozen.

Look ma! No RGB. Well almost. It is impossible to get a good gaming keyboard that doesn't have RGB. But for the rest of the design I went with a dark, sleek and sexy theme. -

I decided to build a unicorn build because you can't get the major components right now
