The thing I'm trying to sort out with that is if the 3090 releases on Thursday then should I actually go the Microcenter on Wednesday at like 6 pm or some dumb shit and see if they give me a voucher, since apparently that's how they do things.GLuE said:I’m gonna camp for the 3090 -
I might just go for the 3090 but who knows, ill be stopping in everyday to see if my store has any in-stock
-

idk why you are seeing $1000
did you set it to the canadian vpn by accident -
is it just worth settling for a 2080ti at this point? i can buy a new one today for $700....but man do i feel like im screwing myself
-

you aren't really missing out on something incredible, just a good upgrade, and you're not missing out on anything just delaying it
don't impulse buy something worse but roughly equivalent (since the newer thing will support newer features soon enough) just cuz we missed hour 0

oof. great call on leaving, UncleTacitus

no reason to spend that much on a card. the 3070 releases for $499. Save your money
-
Thanks. You're right...I just feel like it will be a long while before we see the 3080 in good stock and at a good price. it never happened with the 2080ti and so i just skipped that gen all together, that and the fact that the 2080ti isnt a massive upgrade over the 1080ti. the 3080 is though.Felicity said:

Tustin here. 150ish in line. 85 of us waiting on vouchers. The other 70ish were told more cards will show up today but I didn’t hear how many. The truck just pulled up woot.

Did Duluth have the Gaming X Trio model?
Thinking about next week... -
Lines up to the sign and beyond -
Anyone at houston talk to staff yet? Buddy just told me they have a truck coming in with more this morning
-
-
gross....
edit: after seeing the circus that is tustin -
That's kinda crazy how Tustin gets all these cards. Cambridge store only had 2 in stock and are only getting 11 more, and this is for 6 states. Mass, Vermont, NH, Maine, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.
Unreal lol. 13 cards for 6 freakin states. What kind of crap is that? -

all those states can't beat LA, SB, and Orange county

I want to say that someone posted earlier that it may be population based. California has a lot of people and that probably affected the allocation. Also California is probably closer to the ports in which these cards are being shipped into by boat.joejccva71 said:That's kinda crazy how Tustin gets all these cards. I could understand like midwest states getting shafted, but the east coast too? That just seems odd to me. That Cali store had plenty to share for all the other states lol.NarumiHayaashi said:

Yeah I'd bet these cards are coming in through the long beach port, then tustin is the closest and cheapest store to send them.

Is there a line yet for the 3090 forming at some locations now the 3080 is over? Because if there is, I might as well as not even bother.
-
I honestly think my best chance now is to pop in randomly throughout the week and check for a fresh shipment. I bet the microcenter employee discords are going to be crazy over the next few days.
-
AMD plis deliver us from evil .... looks like campin starts at 7pm on the 23rd for a juicy 3090
-
damn the forums caught me trying to be lewd guess that's not happening
delidding too lewd for microcenter??? -
