Custom Build for Machine Learning
Hi friends, I few years ago I built myself a solid gaming PC and it is still smooth as butter. For my next build, I want something that will be a little more geared toward programming and machine learning. I am aware that there is a lot of overlap here, but it is becoming hard to store both games and data programs on the…

Gigabyte Z390M, i5-9600k, and EVGA 650 G+ power connections - New build
Hi, I'm stuck. I'm trying to figure out how to connect the psu to the mobo. The mobo has 1)ATX_12v_2x2 and 1)ATX_12v_2x4. I plan on OC'ing the cpu at some point after I get this up and running 100% so not sure what cables go where. I'm assuming CPU1 and CPU2 ports on the psu will be used, but the 8 pin cables marked cpu…

Raid 0 and/or?
I was looking at the 64 core build and skipped to the end (it's too much $$ for me at this time) and I see it says to use Windows 10 with drivers for RAID 0. I want to set up RAID 0 or something better on my Windows 10 machine. It's a hand-me-down, my stepson discarded it and it's about 4 years old. I want to use it to…

Sister asked me to build a pc for her (updated list)
I appreciate all the feed back I have gotten and I have taken some of the advice. I changed the CPU to the Ryzen 5 3600, dropped the m.2 storage down to 250 just to run the os and maybe a few favorite games and added a 2tb spinning drive. Couldn't find anything "in stock" with a decent cache on the spinning drives so that…

New to PC Building - Help Wanted
I'm new to the PC building world. I want to build a Gaming PC for myself. My budget is $1000 - $1300. I haven't decided between Intel or AMD. I'm more leaning towards Intel as I read more about it. I already have a keyboard, mouse, and monitor. Also, it would be nice to have the color scheme of Red and White.
