Hi all, I have an HP Laptop 15-ef1xxx. Recently, my warranty has just expired and of course, as soon as this happens, I have noticed pressure marks and a yellow streak that runs up the right side of my monitor (about a half inch thick). It looks almost as if someone's perfume rubbed off on the screen and is baked into the…

Can the Inland 3.5 Inch TFT LCD Touch Screen Monitor's backlight be turned off?
I've got the monitor working on a Pi 3, but cannot find a way to turn off (or dim) the backlight. Does anybody know if it can be done (and if so, how)? I'm currently using the tft35a binary overlay and just using it as a dumb memory mapped framebuffer - only my code needs to write to the display, so I don't need a kernel…

AMD Memory Promotion - Will It Apply to 7800X3D?
I'm anticipating the release of the 7800X3D CPU later this month - wondering if the "Free 32GB DDR5" promotion is planned to be attached to the X3D releases, too? With that, it's enough to steer my build away from a 13700k, otherwise, going to stay Intel for now.

Monitor Port question
I'm trying to buy my first monitor to connect to my Mac AirBook. I was told I need a USBC connection. Is that the case, and how can I tell in the advertised monitors whether or not it has that type of connection? Everything says HDMI. Also, do I need to buy a Thunderbolt 4 for the best connectivity? Thank you!
