Open Box Case Marked complete but missing some hardware and dust filters
Recently picked up an Lian Li O11D Mini marked Open Box Complete condition. Everything looked pretty good otherwise but I noticed some hardware missing, notably the MB standoffs and screws. A few of the magnetic dust covers were missing as well. Is there a recommended course of action? I'd rather not return.

Motherboard in bundle defective
Hi, I bought a CPU-MB-RAM bundle (7700x+MSI PRO B650-p wifi+G.Skill ddr5 16GBx2) from micro center last Thursday, and during my system-building process, I found that my motherboard is defective. After booting the system with the original BIOS (which is V13), it says "Over Current Have Been Detected On Your USB Device!!".…

Laptop upgrade?
I have a laptop that is 7 years old and still runs well but freezes occasionally and always says waiting for the cache. The hard drive needs to be replaced because of a bad sector and I was wondering if I could replace the CPU as well. It is an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6500U CPU @ 2.50GHz 2.60 GHz. I can't afford a new laptop…

Recurring screen flickering issue
I've had this issue with my monitor for a while now where the bottom portion of the screen flickers for several minutes after I first turn on my system. It only does this after I've left my PC off for more than a couple consecutive days, and the flickering is worse and/or lasts longer if my PC has been off for longer…

Keyboard and Mouse stop working after 15-45 minutes
On Sunday, I purchased MSI THIN GF63 12HW-001 15.6" Laptop Computer - Black for my wife as she simply needs something to watch Netflix on while doing some basic photo editing. I updated everything that was available from Windows Update, and also updated drivers from MSI. While using the laptop, my wife kept having the…

Can I bring in my current PC, buy a bunch of new parts and have it all put together same day?
I would have asked this question of customer support but couldn't find any (the chat button wouldn't work even though I tried it in 3 different browsers and the national number, once I asked for a build support person, rang for 3 minutes before hanging up on me). Unfortunately, MC is a 4 hr round trip for me so I can't…

Looking for a new router with NAT Loopback/NAT Reflection/NAT Hairpining functionality
Currently have an old Asus RT-AC3200. Wanting to run private gaming server[s] (Specifically ARK right now). The issue I've run into is ARK Server Manager *specifically* requires NAT Loopback, aka NAT Reflection, aka NAT Hairpining functionality. My current router does not have this nor does any third party firmware like…

Micro Center Membership Question
I logged into my account today and noticed I am a Micro Center Member. I also noticed that it says "Completely free until 2024". This kind of has me worried. Does this mean I will be charged for some kind of renewal come 2024 or will it give me the option? I do not want this membership if I am going to be charged for it…

why is the service "PC Water Cooling Radiator Flush - Advanced" so expensive?
I understand that maybe around $100–$200 USD would be an okay price for such a service, but 500? to clean a small loop? Why does it seem like Microcenter is going overboard with this price? I don't understand. It's basically the price of a brand new loop for my system.

Is there any reason to be a member
Anyone know why new members get free SSD drives and those of us that shopped here many times before don't? Any benefit for loyalty?

Hard Drive suddenly super slow, and other issues
My L drive, 2TB HDD (ST2000DM008-2FR102) suddenly started being really slow when opening or moving files from the drive. Some programs installed on that drive won't open at all. Steam no longer recognizes games I have installed on the drive either. Clicking through folders or sometimes scrolling through results in Windows…

PowerSpec G357: Fans turned red by themselves.
I bought the PowerSpec G357 about 4 months ago and the fans that came with it were always flashing many colors. There was no Aura Sync program preinstalled to control the lights and when I downloaded the program it doesn't work with the Asus Prime Z390-P motherboard so perhaps the lights around the fans are not RGB but…

Why is the red hard drive light flashing on a PC I just upgraded at Microcenter Parkville?
We just had the power supply, video card, and cooling fan upgraded on a computer we bought at Microcenter, but I've plugged it in and the hard drive light is flashing red, plus nothing shows on the monitor. Before I drag it back in, is there anything else I can do? Everything is connected properly.

Transfer Windows 10 Upgrade to 11 on new PC
Apologies if this might be the wrong forum category to be asking this. I have 6-7 year old PC that I built and it has Windows 10 on it. I've gotten notifications for upgrading to Windows 11, however the PC does not meet the minimum requirements for the upgrade. I've heard that you can use the same product key for Windows…

Winbook CW140 Laptop - Will not power up.
My Winbook CW140 has been a great laptop for the last few years, love it and recommend it. Recently, however, it will not power up. Open box products are untested be careful
Drove 2 hours back and forth, 4 hours total, to Microcenter. To get a 250 USD 5800x3d Open Box. Looked terrible, scuffed ink or something all over the IHS, but thought hey it must work right? Surely they would test it. Nope, it's a dead CPU. B550 board. Have latest BIOS, tried ram in every slot. Waited forever, tried…

Can MicroCenter change the SSD/Memory drives in Dell/Asus/PowerSpec desktops?
Many of your desktops above $3000 that have 1TB SSD, 32GB are already outdated by far. Is there anyway we can make a purchase of a Dell, ASUS or PowerSpec desktop and have Microcenter tech modify them with larger SSDs+DDR5 memory there? Of course that will be extra. I'm being forced to make an Amazon purchase of such a…
