Does Micro Center Replace Macbook Batteries?
I have a 2015 Macbook Pro laptop and it is reaching its charging limit. I've been looking for a place that can replace the battery since I am a bit afraid to do it myself. This laptop has contained my life's work, so I would rather pay for it be in good hands in replacing the batteries.

Has anyone at MicroCenter thought of Amateur Radio Gear ?
There have been companies similar to MicroCenter that carry Amateur Radio Gear and supplies. One of the defunct ones is the famous Fry's, currently GigaParts does support the Amateur Radio community along with many of the same products MicroCenter carries. Would MicroCenter consider carrying supplies at the very least if…

Ensuring out-of-the-box compatibility between motherboard and 7800X3D?
Is there a way to ensure that the motherboard we buy is compatible out of the box with the 7800X3D? This is for my nephew who is not hugely computer savvy, and I don't know if he'll be up for flashing the BIOS (particularly without another working AM5 CPU at hand).

When trying to use the converter on the KDS monitor, I got the message "Mode Not Supported H:67.5KHZ V:60.0HZ". I've attached a document with the specifications I am able to get on…

Did I get a broken pc? Reaching out for a solution after no help from In-Store.
Hello. For context, I purchased a POWERSPEC G470 in September. In December I had to bring it, because of two very loud noises. I deduced it was coming from the CPU and the Radiator at the top of the PC. They were distinctly two different noises. One was a rattle while the other sounded like a fan grazing against something.…

help with motherboards - am5
I want to build a super fast computer that has a ton of disk space. I'm zeroing in on 7950X3D for the cpu. Since "pcie 5 nvme ssd" is so much faster than anything else, I want my os to run on it. I was thinking 2tb for the "c" drive would be good. If I could find a motherboard that has four pcie5 nvme slots, I could use…

I am really mad at what I was sold.
I purchased a Lenovo laptop last year. When I spoke to the sales rep, I told him I had 2 requirements. The memory MUST be upgradeable to at least 32GB, 64GB preferable. The processor needed to be at least an 8 core. I also told the sales rep that it would be nice if the laptop was a 2 in 1 as well. We looked at 2-3…

First PC Build Ever
Hi I've been researching parts for a little over a year now, wishfully hoping about building a custom PC in the near future. I understand that parts pricing can change, but I hope that this list that I've come up with can be "future-proof" and even be relevant even if I build it some time from now. I'm not too inclined to…

PowerSpec and Slow Hard Drives
I purchased an open box PowerSpec in March of 2023.(Model G711 Build 7501). As soon as I added four external hard drives I noticed that they take anywhere from 10-30 seconds to open. Sometimes they open right away. I figured they might open as they should if I made them internal hard drives (SATA). So I purchased SATA…
